Joshua Generation -PCU
history

 JG-PCU

                JG stands for Joshua Generation, an accredited non-academic economical Christian organization of PCU. It is dedicated to serve the students and uphold the vision and mission of the University of Faith, Character & Service.


HUMBLE BEGINNING TO MAJOR GROWTH

1999


JG started out from the sharing of five students namely Edgardo Quinsayas, Melvin Duero, Cristan Laboc, Engelbert Flores and judewel Julao. Sharing of their Christian life experiences continued until the other student assistants were added to them. One of the prayer intercessor of KNOX United Methodist Church, Sister Esther Penetrante supported these students until God revealed the Joshua 1:9 to her that became the JGCF theme verse.

2001

After 1 year of existence, the Joshua Generation chosen as Most Outstanding Non-Academic Organization  in the university.

2004

Five years have passed since it has been accredited as a non-academic organization and God is faithfully doing mighty things in the alumni and members of JG. Students from different colleges were added yearly in the organization. Alumni are still visiting JG just to be part of the fellowship, impart knowledge and give brotherly/sisterly love. Different churches also opened their doors in helping us to fulfill our vision and mission. Bible studies have been extended to other student organization like JMA and Metanoia

JG has always been in-charge in chapel service in cooperation with different departments headed by the chaplaincy center. Activities like Bible studies, cell group meetings, large group fellowship
and counseling are being conducted weekly.       

2007

The Joshua Generation-PCU has been progressively active throughout the year.  & consistently strives to improve its system. Today, The JG-PCU is now a campus based youth arm of Solid Rock Ministries. we conducted various activities as to reach, regenerate and train new members and leaders to become leader of leaders.
