ARTICLE II
PURPOSE,
VISION, GOAL & STRATEGY
SECTION 1. Our Purpose:
“To love God and to love young people”
SECTION 2. Our
Vision:
“Reach this generation for Jesus and equip them to
reach the next generation.”
SECTION 3. Our Goal:
“To make every believer a leader of leaders”
SECTION 4. Our
Strategy: The Ladder of Success
SECTION 4a. Win-
New believers are added to open cell through friendship and utilizing the
prayer of 3.
SECTION 4b. Consolidate- after joining the cell, new believers are consolidated in the
Christian faith and sent on an encounter
SECTION 4c. Disciple- Once the new believer
has experienced an encounter, they are sent to the school of leaders.
SECTION 4d. Send-
During the school of leaders the believers begins to reach out trough
friendships and prayer of 3 to start their own open cell. Once they’ve opened
their own cell, one of two things happen.
·
The
new cell leader stays in their own leader’s open cell. This cell gradually
changes into a closed leadership cell.
·
Or,
more commonly, will join a separate leadership cell under their cell leader.
SECTION 4a1. The Pre-Encounter consists of four lessons
where s/he is being prepared for the three-day encounter. The goal is to lead
the new believer through basic steps of Christian faith, to assure the new
believer of his/her salvation, and to know the benefits of the cross and the
power of God to deliver them from their past.
SECTION 4a2. The Encounter is a monthly retreat, usually
set away from the city in a conference centre. Encounters generally last three
days where there is basic Christian teaching or holiness, prayer, fellowship
with God, forgiving, tithing, speaking life, walking in the Spirit, demonic
liberation (which is a Christian form of exorcism, also called casting out of
the enemy or deliverance), healing the sick, winning souls for Christ,
having patience and bearing fruit. One
of the main points for these “encounters” is for the believers to have a
genuine repentance and revelation of what the cross is all about. Also in these
encounters there is extensive prayer and use of common symbolic acts to define
the end of the old and beginning of the new. Pentecostal experience strongly
encouraged.
SECTION 4a3. The Post Encounter is a class aimed at
helping those people who just came back the encounter to deal with the attacks
of the enemy. It will also teach how to relate to the world, friends and
problems and how to overcome temptation, the flesh, sin, the world and the
devil. This class will equip and teach how to resist spiritual attacks and
affirm ground taken at encounter. It will also prepare the individuals to
enroll in the School
of Leaders.
SECTION 4a4. School of Leaders is a nine month course
split into three ten week sections, where all the fundamentals of the Christian
faith are taught, as well as the principles of the G12 vision. It usually
coordinated and run by church members who have attended the School of Teachers.
